You can’t achieve it alone . You need people

Hi friend !

I hope you’ve equally had such an amazing week . If you didn’t , next week is going to be double blessings . Atleast let’s believe for today and then work towards making it great .

Anyhow , this week’s issue has been inspired by a trigger . I literally get triggered when I hear people say they’re making $5k a month , $100k a year , $1M a year etc from Home or online . You want to trigger me even more ? Tell me that you’re working with the best and most focused people while paying good salaries to them . My brain half closes when I hear or watch such stories ? Am I being too dramatic ? 🤦🏽‍♂️.Let me explain , hear me out for a second . I hear people often say that magical phrase , “ I want to be rich and give back or help people” . It always sounds fun , emotional and all until you hear that these exact people who want to help or give back to others are not paying worthy remunerations to people who’re aiding them . Those who have the resources I mean .

During the week , I watched one of my favorite YouTubers Ali Abdaal say that his business currently makes about $5M per year , pays out close to $2.4M and profits about $1.8M and I was like woooow . . He said that he employs about 14 people and if you do the quick maths , every of his team mates ( I like calling them team mates as opposed to workers. I always believe am a team leader and the other people are not my workers but team mates) makes averagely $14,000 per month . Now that’s real giving back or helping people . Whatever way you look at it

While I was wowing , I then asked myself how do you make $5M so you can pay $2.4M though ? The answers were majorly 2 ;

1. The idea or concept you’re working on

2. The workforce . For uniformity’s sake , team mates

3. We can add a bonus and include how well you manage 1 & 2 .

My take home after watching that video was that you could have the idea but then you need a team. Do you remember the loose saying that , “hire people to do the things you don’t know how to do so that you can do the things you know how to do” ? Yes . So my message today is hire , have people around you , have a team etc to work with on your dream . Can I give you the irony ? The biggest companies by employees make the most revenue . You don’t believe me ? Let me give you an example . Walmart , an American founded retail store is the biggest private employer with over 2.2M employees . Do you know what the other irony is ? They make the most revenue annually . Now my campaign is not so that you hire millions or hundreds of staff , my campaign is hire . If you work from home or online , you can still hire some people to help you do some things while you handle others . Not only does it allow you time to do the things you don’t know , it also increases your turn around time on achieving tasks , inspires quicker expansion . Etc .

HOWEVER

This has to be in bold because it’s super important. Whereas there’s a debate about qualities of the ideal team mate , be sure to hire skills , coupled with passion , coupled with loyalty. And after that don’t forget to remunerate them in a worthy way . That’s the first stage towards helping or touching a life . You’re on a journey to financial freedom , make sure the people you meet a long the way are not simply your ladder to the top . Those who deserve it , touch them .
