Where I get my motivation from
Hi friend !
I hope you had a great week . Personally I had let’s say a fairly good week because it seems like I’ve started to make some small money from one of the most powerful things I’ve come to learn about; affiliate marketing. I’ve been preaching about it like it’s my family’s business but really it’s because it’s what I’ve come to learn gives the most open chance , quickest way for anyone to make money with no or minimal investment. I did some videos about it on my YouTube channel , just in case you’ve still not yet checked it out . Obviously I’ll still do follow up videos detailing the process of how & what I’ve made just so you could may be copy & paste as well .
Anyhow , over a week ago , a good friend of mine from Nigeria; Gift replied to one of my status updates alleging that I’ve great energy to building stuff . I used “allege” because I believe I’ve so much energy to pour out there and I beat myself everyday knowing that am not yet pouring out my whole self . I believe am pouring out only 15% and a whole over 85% is still inside of me un poured out 😭😭. That deficiency notwithstanding , once in a while I get texts , calls etc from afew people saying that my energy is great . Let’s just assume it is for context of this newsletter issue .
I believe its largely because of 3 thing ;
The positive ( read motivational) statements I pour into myself or have poured into myself in the past
The kind of mentors I look up to
Discipline . I believe this one is a hybrid of 1 & 2 . Because if you have people you’re looking to , then it’s easy to follow through what they did to get where they did . With a small degree of error , you’ll either be there yourself or atleast achieve a thin percentage of what they’ve achieved . 1% of a billionaires success makes you a millionaire, right ?
Make no mistake I’ve a WHY . I’ve not yet achieved it though ,am in the process . But obviously that’s the engine that drives me , the 3 pointers above are the cores that ensure the engine ( My WHY) is well aligning all the time. So I thought I’d send out a newsletter and for one second broadly touch on what motivation saves me everytime & why & who are my life mentors ?
AND NOW MY TOP 5 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES THAT KEEP AT THE BACK OF MY MIND.
No one is coming to save you , be your own rescue - Lisa Nichols. Lisa said this at an interview with Impact Theory’s Tom Bilyeu and it immediately pinned in my mind . It meant that don’t wait for people to build you up, build yourself up .
Faith it until you make it - I think I’ve had this particular one as my What’s App “about” for over 4 years now . It’s a revised version of what you must be knowing, Fake it until you make it.
The harder you work , the luckier you become. The irony is you’ve to first work hard , then the luck starts to trickle in slowly by slowly.
Knowing what you don’t want to do puts you in a better place if you don’t know what you want to do. Oprah Winfrey said this in relationship to her career . It’s a simple quote but powerful too . Because it talks about clarity in your goal .
The beauty of being of the underdog is that you can get it done without them noticing. Not sure if I’ve put that right , but I can explain it in football terms . We’ve seen smaller teams upset the bigger ones on big stages , right ? The most recent one is where the reigning World Cup winners , USA women were upset by Sweden in the round of 16. USA came to the tournament as favorites only to be upset by the “underdog” . Not to take a swipe at USA or Sweden people on this newsletter but I hope you understand what am trying to say . Whenever they classify you as the underdog , that’s when you should thank God . Because no one will be focusing you . It’ll just be you and focusing on your goal .
Thanks for the read and reply to this email and tell me what your best quotes are .Remember if you loved it , your friend will love it too . Forward this email to them . Have an amazing week ahead
With Love , Denis !
