How to make $1000 per month with Affiliate marketing- My 90 day plan

How’re you doing? I hope you’re having a good start to the new week. What are your targets this week?

Well, this newsletter issue should’ve come hours earlier but i was honestly under the weather for the bigger part of last week. But, it’s all good. Anyhow, 2 weeks ago in our issue, i wrote about how to make $1000 per month online through 3 income streams, really how i plan to check it off in 90 days. The 3 streams are;

1. Faceless YouTube channels

2. Affiliate Marketing

3. Digital products

In the issue that followed that, i noted that for me/you to hit $1000 per month, you have to aim above the mark to hit the mark. And that really meant that aiming to make $1000 per month in each of the 3 income streams. In last week’s issue i wrote about how to make $1000 per month with faceless YouTube channels so this issue will be about our second income stream on the list.

And so the mega question; How do you make $1000 per month with Affiliate Marketing?

Before i pour out the how, let’s quickly understand what Affiliate Marketing is and how powerful it is in this modern day making money online space. Affiliate Marketing is a business model where an individual promotes products or services to their intended users and makes a commission per sale made. Modern day affiliate marketing has grown into something unbelievable that’s making full time incomes for millions of people across the world. Amazon is a common example. They currently give commissions of between 1-10%( of the price of the product) to anyone who promotes their products. Imagine the Affiliate incomes for instance tech products’ influencers like MrWhose The Boss and MKBD make from Amazon. A $1000 iphone perse with a 6% commission would give a cool $60. Imagine 100 people each buying a $60 commission product per month, that would be a cool $6000, right?

As a rule of thumb, whenever you hear a creator (Tiktoker, YouTuber, Blogger, Newsletter author etc) tell you to check link in bio or description, it’s either they’re sending you to buy their own products or products from another seller to make affiliate commissions off it. Let me get to that MKBD and Mr Whose The Boss example for a minute; these guys have done their fair share of the hustle and have grown audiences in tens of millions across their social media platforms and so it’s very easy for them to make that cool $6000 per month because believe me not, sales is a game of numbers. The more people you send to a store, the more will check it out, the more will leave without buying and consequently the more will buy too thereby easily boosting commissions for you. And that’s where you and i are different, we don’t have that big audience or let’s say as yet.

So how can you achieve a conservative goal of $1000 per month from Affiliate Marketing in this very moment? What i have learnt that works like magic is;

1. Building multiple audiences in multiple profitable niches. I covered this i believe in our previous issue about faceless YouTube channels. But to quickly recap, the highest paying niches and best to build audiences around are; how to make money online, Relationships, Tech, Real Estate, Legal, Insurance, Personal Finance to mention but a few. I mention faceless YouTube channels because they’re like the usual YouTube channels but without your face out there. They’re mostly semi automated with AI. The number 1 pro these channels give you is creative freedom. So having a couple of them allows you to affiliate more products relevant to each of those audiences. Personally am working on 3 faceless channels; one on Relationships, another on finance and a third one on Tech. Clearly those are audiences in high paying niches, right?

2. Affiliate both digital and physical products. Although physical products are the most common, digital products surprisingly have high commissions. Sometimes 50-75% on $1000 and above products like courses, software, co-hort classes, audio books, eBooks etc. A 50% commission from a $1000 product is a cool $500. So in my niche examples above, the Tech channel will affiliate everything Amazon(physical products) while the other 2 will affiliate digital products from sites like clickbank, digistore24 etc.

3. Knowing the numbers. This basically helps you to know what combinations or possibilities give you what results. For instance, if you’ve to make $1000 per month from $10 commission products, then you’ll need to make 100 sales per month. If you set the same goal from $500 commission products, then you’ll be looking at making only 2 sales per month. Let me give you more interesting stats, people need 3 or more viewings to decide on buying $1000+ products and 3 or less viewings for products that’re $1000 or less. Also, averagely 2500 views on a piece of content can gives you a sale of a product. I hope this point is making sense though.
