Things are changing to digital - Do you know ?

I hope you had such an amazing week . Personally I had a very fruitful week . I did a video-a-thon where I recorded videos transnight 🤓🤓

Anyhow , the take home for this week was inspired by an off chat I had with my cousin who’s a banker and we were contemplating how a lot of things are moving digital these days . There seems to be a shift that’s happening in the way we do things as compared to how we did them in the past . As per her observation, the long queues in the banking hall these days have drastically reduced . We can say that these shifts are due to introduction of seamless ways of banking for clients like internet & mobile banking , the ever growing tech space that has seen fintechs evolve that now help you to send and receive money from across borders in the comfort of your home e.g Eversend. I can’t speak about banking that much like I can about YouTube and newsletters but the point is that there’s a shift in how we do things these days . Brands are stretching to get more clients using social media , clients are now more inclined to ordering their favorite pizza online and have it delivered to their home as opposed to heading out to the restaurant etc .

SO WHY AM I SENDING THIS PARTICULAR EMAIL ISSUE ?

To simply give you a conscience interrupt . Are you getting involved in the digital space ? I personally would classify involvement in 3 clusters of :- Digital Business owners , influencers & Consumers .

  1. Digital Business owners - These obviously are the CEOs of digital platforms e.g social media networks like the Meta group , Twitter , TikTok, YouTube by Google , Threads , Truth social etc . Founders of tech related mobile apps like fintech Eversend , AI related Apps , CEOs of digital assets like cryptocurrencies, NFTs etc . Obviously these offer value on their platforms and make considerable amounts of money from it

  2. Influencers. Some people don’t like being referred to as influencers. They find it degrading. I don’t . But do me a favor , call me “International Influencer” 😎. But the gist is that this is the mid range cluster of 1 & 3 . Influencers leverage on platforms built or being managed by those in cluster 1 to give value to those in cluster 3 and make money doing it . I personally fall in this category as a youtuber , tiktokers , onlyfans creators , IG influencers etc . The irony about this cluster , is that they swing between 1&3 . A youTuber or tiktoker can come off as a business owner at most times but can also be a consumer on some times. People who buy & hold digital assets for a bigger profit could also be classified under these .

  3. Consumers . These are basically those that consume the value offered by 1&2 . To kid you not , everything I know & are working on moving forward, I learnt from social media mostly YouTube . The value you consume from cluster 1&2 shouldn’t be only about comedy . Do consume some knowledge too that’ll positively impact you.

So which cluster do you classify yourself?
